Beginner Questions Answered
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
You need basic swimming ability, but you don't need to be an Olympic athlete! If you can swim 200m and float for 10 minutes, you're good to go.
What if I'm claustrophobic?
Many people worry about this but find the open ocean actually feels freeing, not confining. Try Scuba is a great way to test your comfort level with no commitment.
Is there an age limit?
You can try scuba from age 10. There's no upper age limit—we've taught divers in their 70s! A medical questionnaire ensures diving is safe for you.
What about my ears?
You'll learn easy equalization techniques to prevent ear discomfort. Most people master this quickly. If you have ear issues, consult a doctor first.
