Common Species You'll Encounter
Common Octopus
Malta's most beloved resident! These intelligent creatures are found on almost every dive. Look for piles of shells outside rocky holes—that's their den. Most active at dawn and dusk.
Very Common
Stingrays
Often found resting on sandy bottoms near reefs. These graceful creatures are harmless if you give them space. A magical sight when they glide past you underwater.

Nudibranchs
